The ISB Studios has been mandated to be a principal audio-visual content contributor towards enhancing ISB’s reputation and standing as an internationally top-ranked, research driven, management institution that grooms future leaders for India and the world. The Studio’s content could be in the form of (but not limited to) multi-media case studies, podcasts, short video films, interview programs, documentaries, live events and marketing videos.


The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business content creation, with experience in media and/or education. The role involves creative interpretation of business-related research that produces original and compelling audio-video content by defining the creative strategy across different formats and channels. Responsibilities:

To work closely with different stake-holders (faculty, research centres, etc.) within the School from pre to post-production stages.

  2. Lead a creative team and be responsible for keeping all audio-visual content aligned with a cohesive visual style.
  3. To articulate and develop concepts and ideas, and also put them into action with solid project execution skills.
  4. To write clear creative briefs with desired outlines. Work with the content team on scripts, voice-overs, and interview questions.
  5. To understand the brief and transform it into tangible design concepts that are feasible for execution as an audio-visual production.
  6. To guide and direct the video shoots, conduct filmed interviews, and inform every stage of the post-production.
  7. To be able to hold self and the creative team responsible for ensuring tasks are completed faithfully, within project constraints and budgets.


Requirements


  • MA / PG Dip in Journalism, Mass Communications, English, Economics, Business, Politics, Sociology.
  • Preferably 7-10 years’ experience in audio-visual content creation for different media vehicles, preferably in business journalism or education.
  • An understanding of business, economy and education would be highly desirable.
  • High level understanding of the storyboarding process and ability to assist the creative strategy for a video production.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and team management skills.
  • Proficient in managing different media programming formats, such as long/short form videos, explainer videos, marketing collateral, podcasts and AV case studies.
  • Strong listening and superior relationship-building skills, including persuasion, customer orientation, negotiation, networking, and influencing..
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
