Job Title: F5 Engineer

Work Timings: 9:00am - 5:00pm IST (Mon - Friday)

Experience: 8+ Years


Required Skills:

  • As part of joining the Engineering function, you’ll be expected to bring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) skillset, which in this case is F5 Networks.
  • You will be expected to have extensive experience in implementing and architecting solutions using F5 technologies, such as but not limited to, F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM), F5 Global Traffic Manager (GTM), F5 iRule, F5 vCMP Guests, F5 Application Security Manager (ASM), as well as F5 Silverline.
  • Experience and expertise of working within web stack hosting and architecture is desired, to understand and articulate the holistic end to end architecture of stacks of this nature, and the role of F5 architecture and components within the delivery of this content.
  • Expertise and knowledge with other technologies and domains Enterprise Network Services maintain would also be welcome, such as but not limited to, data centre fabric technologies such as Cisco ACI and Cisco NXOS (Nexus 9000), SD-WAN technologies (SilverPeak SD-WAN, Viptela, etc), Cloud Service Provider (CSP) technologies (AWS, Azure, ZScaler (ZIA), ZScaler (ZPA) Secure Web Gateways (i.e. Ivanti Pulse, Citrix NetScaler, Cisco AnyConnect, etc), DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM),
  • Underlying network route and switch knowledge is expected, underpinning these SME domains.
  • Further to an SME skillset, it’s expected that you will bring some level of programming, scripting or automation experience. Examples of toolset experience expected here includes Python, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.
  • Utilisation of these tools within your day-to-day responsibilities will be expected, to streamline repetitive tasks, whilst providing repeatability and shared capability for your colleagues. Collaboration with colleagues to evolve and mature this automation will also be expected.
