We have a job opening for Senior Commercial Manager in well-established MNC Construction company in Hyderabad, Telangana location.
JOB DETAILS:
Position: Senior Commercial Manager
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Salary: Industry Standards
Qualification: Any Commerce Graduate + MBA (Finance) + (PMP, CPA, CFA, CMA) will be added advantage.
Experience: 15+ Years of experience in high level of contracting support including drafting and editing contract documents, executing contract documents etc.
Job Description:
The senior commercial manager provides a high level of contracting support including drafting and editing contract documents, executing contract documents, managing deadlines relative to contract expirations and post contract evaluation for commercial payor and client accounts to achieve favourable economic and/ or strategic terms.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in key meetings with Clients (including major Subcontractors) in which decisions and agreements may have a contractual and/or commercial impact.
- Identify and advise Projects areas of risk and opportunities and assist in developing a project risk mitigation/opportunity plan.
- Preparation of Budgeted Revenue for the business, Advise Projects on the preparation, substantiation and defense of (i) Claims including Loss & Expense claims, Extension of Time claims etc, and (ii) Change Orders, striving for amicable dispute resolutions within the provisions of the applicable contracts.
- Ensure effective contract completion (including appropriate extensions if applicable) and contract close-out in line with the contract requirements.
- Demonstrate track record of delivering high quality commercial proposals through creating solution, recommendations and drafting contracts concerning both commercial and legal terms.
- Act as a liaison between Sales Managers, Project Managers, and execution team for project completion.
- Define the commercial strategy for the local business, ensuring it is aligned with the global strategy.
- Monitoring day to day billing system and activities.
- Monitoring Unbilled Revenue and updating the status to management fortnightly.
- Ensure preparation of Forecast Revenue after taking inputs from Vertical heads.
- Finalization of Revenue at each month end.
- Review of DPR with concerned Head/site team.
- Submission of Productivity efficiency report as per corporate requirement.
- Ensuring the documentation as per ISO standards.
- Attending to the Queries raised by External /Internal Auditors.
- Verification of Subcontractor bills and processing the same.
Education and Experience:
- Any Commerce Graduate + MBA (Finance).
- Minimum 15+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable.
- Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Other professional degrees (like PMP, CPA, CFA, CMA) can be considered based on relevant working experience as required.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must.
