Position: Mechanical Design Engineer - 3D Visualization Specialist

As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in 3D Visualization, you will play a critical role in developing and presenting advanced 3D designs and visual assets for architectural and mechanical projects. This position demands strong technical skills, creativity, and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and handle architectural CAD drawings effectively.
  • Provide efficient modeling and convert datasets from CAD or other 3D modeling software.
  • Work on architectural and mechanical 3D modeling, unwrapping, texturing, lighting, camera animation, and rendering for visuals and walkthrough projects.
  • Create highly photorealistic interior, exterior, and landscape visuals and animations.
  • Perform 2D image compositing, finishing, and retouching operations on 3D rendered outputs.
  • Stay updated with the latest 3D visualization software and rendering engines for improved efficiency and quality.
  • Work on pipelines, assets, and emerging trends such as virtual reality (VR).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring visual outputs align with project requirements and specifications.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 3D Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in 3D modeling and visualization.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Advanced knowledge of 3ds Max and/or Blender.
  • Experience in SketchUp will be a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop for final render image color correction.
  • Knowledge of After Effects for video post-production and walkthroughs will be a bonus.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent understanding of CAD systems, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and 3D visualization workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
