Position Overview: The Service Coordinator will play a critical role in managing the maintenance and service operations for our electric vehicle fleet. This position focuses on ensuring the highest standards of vehicle availability, performance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fleet management, a strong technical background in electric vehicles, and the ability to lead and improve service processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • EV Fleet Maintenance: Oversee preventive and scheduled maintenance of electric vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Vehicle Monitoring: Closely monitor kilometers lost, reduce breakdown incidents, and ensure 100% vehicle availability on a daily basis.
  • Routine Checks: Implement and supervise daily and weekly checks to maintain vehicle readiness and reliability.
  • Performance Feedback: Gather and analyze product performance feedback, monitor product failures, and collaborate with internal stakeholders for effective diagnosis and solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality work across all depots, conduct failure analyses, and implement measures to prevent repeat jobs.
  • Process Implementation: Establish and audit service processes at all depots to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Warranty Management: Prepare and submit warranty claims through the designated portal, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • SAP Proficiency: Utilize SAP for effective service management and documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Manage depot technical staff, focusing on capability improvement and skill mapping to enhance team performance.
  • Service Strategies: Develop depot service procedures and strategies aimed at increasing productivity while maintaining quality service standards.
  • Emergency Response: Monitor and reduce turnaround times (TAT) for emergency off-road buses, ensuring prompt service delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Implement Kaizen activities and maintain optimal parts stock levels at all depots based on historical data and actual consumption.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and government authorities to address service concerns and provide updates.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and communication.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and technologies; proficiency in SAP.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively across departments.
