Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures on AWS
  • Cloud Strategy: Develop and execute cloud strategy, including migration, optimization, and cost management
  • Solution Development: Design and deploy applications on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions
  • Security: Implement and manage security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud systems and applications
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures and procedures
  • Training & Mentoring: Provide training and mentoring to team members on AWS best practices and new technologies
  • Innovation: Stay current with AWS developments and industry trends to continually improve cloud strategies



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AWS Expertise: Proficiency with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch
  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or similar certification preferred
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of networking, security, databases, and system administration
  • DevOps: Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker
  • Programming: Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Shell
  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Project Management: Experience in managing and delivering large-scale projects



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing
