We are seeking a skilled and experienced IO Characterization Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit design and hands-on experience with industry-standard tools for IO characterization. Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform IO characterization using Synopsys Si Smart (Cadence Liberate experience is also acceptable, but Si Smart is preferred).
  • Execute DRC/LVS/ERC using Calibre tools to ensure design integrity and compliance.
  • Generate GDS/CDL/extracted/abstract views from OA.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as Perl and TCL to automate and optimize workflows.
  • Model and verify designs using Verilog.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and performance.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree (BE/B-Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IO characterization and circuit design.
  • Proficiency in Synopsys Si Smart or Cadence Liberate for IO characterization.
  • Experience with DRC/LVS/ERC tools, specifically Calibre.
  • Ability to generate and work with GDS/CDL/extracted/abstract views.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl/TCL) for automation and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with Verilog modeling and verification.
  • Additional knowledge of Redhawk/Voltus, IBIS, and ATPG is an added advantage.
