Job Title: SDE II - DevOps

Experience: 2+ years

Location: Mumbai Office

Role Overview: Join our Regrowth Engineering Team, which builds products for over 10 million users and internal teams. Our team comprises generalist engineers who work on a variety of projects, including modern websites (SPA & Isomorphic), mobile apps for Android & iOS, REST APIs, servers, internal tools, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate Everything: Automate operational processes with precision and adherence to security requirements.
  • Gather and evaluate cloud infrastructure requirements to propose effective solutions.
  • Specify, document, and develop new product features, and write automation scripts.
  • Update existing processes and design new ones as necessary.
  • Manage multiple self-managed Kubernetes clusters on various clouds.
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues during testing and production, resolving problems before launch.
  • Maintain stable and efficient CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages, including Python and one other (Node.js, Go, Shell).
  • Working knowledge of Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with web servers and proxies (Nginx, Apache).
  • Containerization experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud service and Kubernetes security.
  • Experience with cloud-native monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Proficiency in code, build, and release management using GIT and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of Azure.
  • Experience with distributed tracing and APM tools is a plus.
  • Experience with running logging infrastructure stacks like ELK at scale.
  • Knowledge of distributed messaging/task queues such as Kafka.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and MySQL.
