Job OverviewWe are looking for a confident and empathetic Student Counselor to guide college students in choosing the right internship and training programs offered by our institute. The role focuses on understanding students’ career goals, counseling them on suitable programs, and converting inquiries into enrollments while maintaining high ethical and service standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel college students about available internship and training programsUnderstand students’ academic background, career goals, and skill gapsRecommend suitable programs aligned with industry and career outcomesHandle student inquiries via calls, messages, walk-ins, and online platformsExplain program details, curriculum, duration, fees, and certificationFollow up with interested students and manage the enrollment pipelineMaintain accurate records of leads, counseling sessions, and conversionsCoordinate with academic and marketing teams for student onboardingParticipate in college visits, seminars, and career guidance sessionsRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to counsel, persuade, and build trust with students and parentsBasic understanding of internships, training programs, and career pathsGoal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet enrollment targetsComfortable with calling, follow-ups, and CRM toolsPositive attitude, empathy, and professional ethicsPreferred / Good-to-Have SkillsPrior experience in education counseling, admissions, or salesExperience working with colleges, students, or training institutesKnowledge of IT, software, or skill-based training programsAbility to conduct presentations or group counseling sessionsExperience0–2 years (Freshers with good communication skills are welcome)What We OfferFixed salary + performance-based incentivesTraining and structured onboardingCareer growth opportunities in education and training domainSupportive and professional work environment
