Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead in AI/ML to join our talented team. In this role, you will lead a group of data scientists and machine learning engineers, driving the development of cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance our educational products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of AI/ML professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms tailored for educational applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, educators, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI/ML projects that align with business goals.
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and trends, ensuring that Avinyaa remains at the forefront of the edtech industry.
- Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate and implement best practices in AI/ML, including data management, model validation, and performance monitoring.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in AI/ML, with a strong understanding of algorithms, statistical models, and data analysis.
- Must have 3+ years of experience in NLP, and
able to do extensive research on NLP with limited guidance.
- Must have work experience in libraries like NLTK.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, with strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for education and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
