Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Back End Developer at Astria Digital. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with back-end web/Software development using Node JS, Mongo DB and AWS Lambda, and object-oriented programming (OOP). This role is based in Bengaluru with the flexibility to work remotely.


Responsibilities

  1. Develop server-side logic using Node.js.
  2. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  3. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  4. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  5. Implementation of security and data protection measures.
  6. Integration of data storage solutions such as databases (NoSQL).
  7. Performance tuning, improvement, and troubleshooting of applications.
  8. Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features.
  9. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  10. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of strong proficiency with Node JS Frame works.
  • Hands on experience with Mongo DB
  • Hands on experience with AWS Lambda
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented program AWS Lambda ming concepts, data structures and algorithms.
  • Team leading skills.
  • Knowledge on or react will be added advantage.
