Role: Teradata Admin Instructors (3 Positions)

Location: Fully Remote(India Only)

Are you passionate about database management and skilled in imparting knowledge? Big Data Trunk is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Teradata Admin Instructors. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in educating teams and organizations on Teradata administration best practices, helping them manage and optimize their data environments effectively.

Responsibilities:

Training Delivery:

• Conduct engaging training sessions on various Teradata administration topics, catering to different skill levels.
• Cover areas such as installation, configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
• Utilize effective teaching methods including hands-on labs and simulations.

Content Development:

• Develop and update training materials and presentations to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on the latest Teradata features and incorporate them into training content.
• Design practical exercises and assessments to reinforce learning outcomes.

Monitoring and Assessment:

• Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Assess understanding through quizzes, exercises, and exams.

Database Management Awareness:

• Promote best practices in Teradata administration.
• Educate on common issues such as system performance and data integrity.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participant performance.
• Document any issues or incidents encountered during training.

Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of Teradata architecture, tools, and technologies.
• Familiarity with installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in Teradata.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

Teaching Skills:

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Patience and empathy when working with learners of varying skill levels.
• Experience in designing effective training materials.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Teradata Certified Professional (TDP)
• Teradata Certified Database Administrator (TCDBA)
• Teradata Certified Implementation Specialist
