Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Develop and implement processes and controls to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage cash flow, including forecasting and budgeting, to ensure the company meets its financial goals.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and classified.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and legal, to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax requirements.
- Lead and mentor the finance operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure continuous improvement and professional development.
- Implement and manage financial software systems to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in finance operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations for a growing company, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA/CPA preferred).
- Experience working in a high-growth or e-commerce environment.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
