Position Overview:

As an Electronics Buyer at CEAD, you will be a key player in sourcing and procuring electronic components and materials. Your role includes supplier management, negotiation, and ensuring timely, cost-effective supply while upholding the highest quality standards. Collaborating with various internal teams, you will contribute to the success of our R&D and daily production operations.

Skill Required:

• MRP & Forecast-Based Procurement: Experience in handling Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and forecast-driven procurement, ensuring materials align with customer demand fluctuations.
• Customer Forecast Analysis & Inventory Planning: Ability to analyze customer forecasts, adjust purchase schedules, and communicate push-out/pull-in changes to suppliers for optimal inventory control.
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Execution: Hands-on experience in Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) processing, supplier order confirmations, invoice verification, and payment coordination.
• Supplier Coordination & Order Management: Ability to align supplier production schedules with customer forecasts, ensuring seamless material flow and quick response to schedule changes.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization: Experience in managing stock levels, implementing JIT (Just-in-Time) principles, and reducing excess inventory without disrupting production needs.
• ERP & Forecasting Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for demand planning, PO tracking, inventory updates, and supplier communication.
• Schedule Push-Out/Pull-In Management: Expertise in adjusting purchase schedules based on demand changes, supply chain constraints, and customer requirements while minimizing procurement costs.
• Invoice & Payment Reconciliation: Strong knowledge of invoice verification, PO-GRN matching, and supplier payment follow-ups, ensuring smooth P2P workflows.
• Regulatory Compliance & Supplier Documentation: Understanding of import/export regulations, GST compliance, supplier contracts, and supply chain documentation management.
• Strong Communication & Supplier Negotiation: Ability to liaise with suppliers, negotiate lead times, and ensure real-time adjustments based on forecast changes.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English & Hindi to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal teams.

Job Responsibility:

• Customer Forecast-Based Procurement Planning – Analyze monthly customer demand forecasts, align procurement schedules, and ensure material availability as per demand fluctuations.
• Schedule Push-Out & Pull-In Management – Adjust purchase schedules dynamically based on forecast variations, ensuring suppliers can meet changing demand while preventing overstocking.
• Supplier Communication & Order Adjustments – Work closely with suppliers to adjust production schedules, manage lead times, and negotiate flexibility for last-minute forecast changes.
• MRP-Driven PO Execution – Convert MRP-based demand into purchase orders (POs), issue timely POs, and align deliveries with production needs.
• Inventory & Procurement Synchronization – Optimize on-hand stock levels, reduce excess inventory through push-out strategies, and ensure supply continuity with pull-in orders.
• Invoice Verification & Payment Coordination – Match supplier invoices with POs and GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Supplier Performance & Risk Mitigation – Monitor supplier responsiveness, mitigate supply chain risks, and ensure on-time material flow despite forecast adjustments.
• ERP & Data-Driven Procurement Management – Use ERP/MRP tools to track supplier schedules, inventory flow, and procurement forecasts, ensuring real-time visibility.
• Compliance & Documentation Control – Ensure adherence to tax regulations, import/export documentation, and supplier contracts, preventing supply chain disruptions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with sales, production, and finance teams to ensure customer demand alignment with procurement and supplier planning.
• Continuous Process Improvement – Analyze supply chain trends, procurement KPIs, and supplier performance metrics, recommending efficiency improvements.
• Additional Duties as Assigned – Support any ad-hoc procurement and inventory-related projects based on business needs.

Education qualification:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
