Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Email and Network Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of email systems, network security, and cloud infrastructure, particularly within the AWS ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing our email execution process from campaign set-up to deployment, ensuring high deliverability and compliance with international standards such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage email delivery systems across multiple data centers with a focus on scalability and deliverability.
- Maintain and optimize server configurations, including PowerMTA, Postfix, and DNS settings for optimal performance.
- Ensure robust security measures are in place to protect servers and network communications.
- Handle responsive email design, optimizing for various devices and ensuring high engagement metrics.
- Manage CDN configurations and optimize content delivery network performance.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and system health.
- Maintain high levels of data integrity and hygiene across growing, high-volume lists.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in email systems management, network security, and cloud services, particularly AWS.
- Profound knowledge of email protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP) and the email relay process.
- Experience with Linux/Ubuntu server management and network protocol configuration.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize email and network performance.
- Proven track record of improving key email metrics (CTR, open rates, etc.) and maintaining compliance with email regulation laws.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in AWS, network security, or system administration are highly advantageous.
