About the Role:

As a Senior DevOps Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines in OpenShift environments. You will collaborate closely with our development, operations, and platform teams to automate and optimize software delivery workflows. Have a strong background in Jenkins automation, Kubernetes orchestration, extensive experience with OpenShift, AWS services, and a solid understanding of DevOps principles


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins in OpenShift environments.
  • Configure and manage Jenkins agents, plugins, and pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate software delivery processes and improve release cycles.
  • Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Helm and Ansible.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to build failures, deployment errors, and Kubernetes/OpenShift resource management.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of CI/CD infrastructure on OpenShift.
  • Integrate automated testing, monitoring, and logging solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with platform engineers to optimize Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters for performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Jenkins, Kubernetes, and OpenShift best practices.
  • Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS for CI/CD workflows.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of CI/CD infrastructure in AWS.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to build failures, deployment errors, and AWS resource management.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Integrate automated testing and quality assurance processes into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor system health, performance metrics, and security compliance in AWS environments.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Jenkins and Kubernetes Professional, preferably in an OpenShift environment.
  • Hands-on experience with configuring and managing Jenkins pipelines and plugins.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and architecture.
  • Experience with deploying and managing applications on OpenShift clusters.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Helm and Ansible.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud computing concepts.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
