Job responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that food quality and portion controls are always in line with the Companies specifications
  • Making sure that personal appearance, uniform and personal hygiene are in accordance with the Company’s regulations
  • Ensuring that food preparation is done according to the company recipes and U.S.P.H/ Internal Health standards
  • Always maintaining the cleanliness of all food preparation areas, conducting simulated USPH type inspections and pre port arrival inspections
  • Enforcing clean as you go work habits
  • Maintaining menus and food quality up to company standards and expectations
  • Controlling food waste on a daily basis
  • Following company recipes
  • Performs other duties / tasks if required by Line Manager
  • Maintains a high responsible approach applying social distancing rules also during non-working activities


Requirements:

  • Cruise ship experience
  • 5-star hotel experience
