Job Description:


We are currently hiring talented and motivated BIM Coordinators to become a key members of our team. As a BIM Coordinator you will be instrumental in seamlessly coordinating and implementing BIM processes for BIM projects. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of various international projects. 


Role Accountabilities

  1. Communicate regularly with clients, providing project status reports.
  2. Coordinate clash detection and resolution activities, creating federated models from different discipline models.
  3. Provide oversight on workflow and address issues with clients.
  4. Support engineers in adhering to drawing standards and using BIM software.
  5. Mentor team members, assist with modeling, and address queries.
  6. Ensure the latest model is up to date and stored correctly in the project management system.
  7. Develop skills in managing large and complex BIM projects. Perform QA/QC on technical drawings before submission to the BIM Manager for final review.
  8. Oversee drawing production, ensuring adherence to company/project standards and procedures (e.g., BIM Execution Plan).
  9. If needed, provide advanced BIM training on software and processes to the team. 


Required Skills

  1. Ability to read and comprehend schematics, technical submittals, drawings, and project specifications.
  2. Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  3. Experience in setting up and producing Revit models.
  4. Ensuring there are enough resources and inputs to deliver projects effectively.
  5. Ability to plan deliverables systematically.
  6. Provide input into technical standards, templates, workflows, and procedures to enhance the quality of deliverables.
  7. Facilitate BIM Standards & ISO 19650 standards development and implementation.
  8. Flexibility to work with US/Canada Region Standards.


Responsibilities

  1. Apply technical knowledge and engineering production skills in a BIM environment for projects.
  2. Lead a team in BIM model and drawing production, coordinating with discipline leads of multiple disciplines.
  3. Ensure model delivery compliance with project and company standards, meeting clients' Exchange Information Requirements (EIR).
  4. Coordinate clash detection and resolution activities.
  5. Collaborate with lead engineers and other discipline leads for effective coordination.
  6. Support developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans and project delivery strategy.
  7. Assist clients in coordinating multi-discipline BIM environments for large or complex projects.
