Overview:
Inuka is working with a leading renewable energy developer seeking a skilled Financial Modeller to join their team in India. This role will support the origination, structuring, and execution of renewable energy projects by developing and maintaining robust financial models across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and refine detailed financial models for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Support project bids, acquisitions, and investment evaluations through scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Work closely with internal teams (development, legal, commercial) and external stakeholders (banks, investors) to structure bankable deals.
- Assist with valuations, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Provide inputs for investment committee materials and board presentations.
- Monitor and update models post-financial close to track project performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; CFA or MBA preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in financial modelling within the energy, infrastructure, or project finance space.
- Strong Excel skills and understanding of project finance structures, equity returns, and debt sizing.
- Experience working on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage) is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and across multi-disciplinary teams.
