Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role involves mapping, conceptual, technical design, and other support functions for the FI/CO modules. The ideal candidate will drive the design based on functional requirements in support of configuration changes to SAP.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed mapping, conceptual, and technical design for SAP FI/CO modules.
  • Drive design based on functional requirements to support configuration changes to SAP.
  • Configure SAP FI and CO modules based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with consultants from other SAP modules including MM, PM, PP, SD, SM, and PS.
  • Conduct data mapping - map the source data element for each data element in the target environment.
  • Perform gap analysis - identify gaps between As-Is and To-Be processes, and ask the right questions regarding business requirement gaps.
  • Present conceptual and technical designs to the Global SAP Team for validation.
  • Ensure sound knowledge and application of SAP payment processes and encryption/decryption processes.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • Minimum of 7+ years SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System.
  • Experience in SAP FI and CO modules - General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Centre Accounting (CPA), Payment Processes, Encryption/Decryption.
  • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, PM, PP, SD, SM, HR, and PS.
  • Experience in EDI / Interface projects.
  • Accounting background is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
