We are looking for a proactive and skilled Staff Developer Experience Engineer to join our infrastructure group. This position offers the chance to work in a highly Agile environment, where code is deployed multiple times a day, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies.


Role Overview:

As a Staff Developer Experience Engineer, you will be integral in managing and refining the developer toolchain to boost productivity and minimize development cycle times. You will closely collaborate with developers to understand their needs, develop appropriate tools, and resolve issues promptly. With the rapid expansion of our Engineering teams, effective tooling and an efficient developer experience are essential to support this growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and improve the developer toolchain to maximize efficiency.
  • Work alongside developers to comprehend their needs and create tailored tools.
  • Address and solve complex issues related to developer tools and workflows.
  • Implement industry best practices for developer tooling and documentation.
  • Drive continuous enhancements and streamline development processes to support swift growth.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of industry experience, with a focus on developer tooling and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Developer Experience Engineer or in a similar senior-level role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
