Experience: 3-4 Years in IT Network

Primary roles:

  • Responsible for Level 2 support and escalations for network and security issues.
  • Configure, install and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, load balancers, etc. • Perform/coordinate maintenance and upgrades of network devices.
  • Good understanding of VTP and its implementations.
  • Understanding/familiarity of SD-WAN technologies would be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of Cisco DataCenter technologies with experience in implementing and managing DataCenter networks is essential.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Remote Access VPN solutions.
  • Review daily reports and create actionable task lists.
  • Liaise with other teams for resolution of the issues.

Secondary roles:

  • Good understanding of Wireless technologies and their working, including implementation of Wireless controllers, integration with wireless authentication methodologies.
  • Proactively handle all network, wireless and security solutions or tools as required.
  • Good understanding of functioning of network monitoring tools and their integrations with the network/security devices.

Requirements:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Monitor network to ensure optimum performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Perform maintenance and upgrades of network devices.
  • Check on resource utilization for trending and capacity planning purposes.
