Fashion Content Creator (Video & Graphic Design)

Salt Studio is seeking a talented and versatile Fashion Content Creator to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in producing visually compelling content for fashion brands (both Graphic Design & Video), using design and digital tools to create visuals that enhance the brand's identity, engage the target audience, and promote products.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and create high-quality visual assets such as social media posts, banners, advertisements, newsletters, lookbooks, and product images
  • Develop creative concepts for fashion campaigns, collections, and product launches, ensuring that each piece aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and message.
  • Assist with styling, photography, and post-production editing for digital content such as photoshoots, videos, and GIFs. Ensure consistency across all visual content, adhering to brand guidelines, colour palettes, typography, and overall visual language.
  • Maintain the integrity of the brand's style and aesthetic, ensuring that all content represents the brand's ethos and resonates with its target audience.
  • Create engaging visuals for social media platforms, optimizing designs for platform-specific formats (e.g., stories, posts, reels).
  • Work with marketing and design, to plan and create content calendars, ensuring the design aligns with marketing campaigns and seasonal trends.
  • Stay updated on social media design trends, incorporating fresh, creative ideas into the brand’s content strategy.
  • Design product images, lifestyle photos, and promotional banners for e-commerce websites, ensuring the product is presented clearly and attractively.
  • Help develop mood boards and visual concepts for photoshoots, collaborating with photographers, stylists, and models to bring ideas to life. Edit photos and videos for various digital platforms, including cropping, colour correction, retouching, and enhancing product images.
  • Create and edit video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube, such as behind-the-scenes footage, product demos, and promotional videos.
  • Optimize content for different social media platforms and ensure it meets technical specifications


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Communications from Nift or similar reputed institution
  • 2-3 years of experience in fashion content creation, with a focus on video production and graphic design
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, versatility, and technical design skills, especially in the context of fashion or lifestyle brands
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creativity and ability to translate brand guidelines into compelling visual content
  • Understanding of fashion trends, styles, and the ability to translate them into visual content.
  • A strong ability to conceptualize and design engaging, visually compelling content that communicates the brand's message.
  • Basic photography skills, including the ability to shoot and edit product or lifestyle images, as well as video editing.
  • Understanding of how to design content optimized for different social media platforms and their respective formats.
  • A strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and how to create a visually harmonious composition.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent visual identity across all content while adapting to different marketing channels.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
