We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDE to join our dynamic team and lead our backend development efforts. You will be hands-on in coding, writing efficient and scalable code in Node.js, as well as overseeing the technical aspects of projects. You will also be managing a team of developers. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software development and delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Node.js
  • Review and oversee the code written by other developers, ensuring best practices and high code quality.
  • Manage a team of developers, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure the team adheres to agile methodologies and software development best practices.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data modelling
  • Design scalable microservices and experience in building highly-performant APIs and data processing pipelines that are rigorously tested and horizontally scalable. Implements RESTful APIs with the standard net/http package for web services. Develop scalable APIs for both internal and public consumption
  • Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes deployments for seamless scaling. Experience with known DevOps tools - Terraform, Helm, Ansible, etc. Orchestrate CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment of Go applications.
  • Experience architecting and writing software that interfaces with cloud-native, distributed systems. Leverage AWS services like Lambda, ECS, and S3 for cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with Amazon SQS, Kafka, NATS or RabbitMQ, Redis or Memcached
  • Develop performant APIs and data processing pipelines, ensuring they are rigorously tested and horizontally scalable. Implement RESTful APIs with the standard net/http package. Work on scalable APIs for both internal and public use.
  • High bar for quality as demonstrated by code reviews, documentation, unit and integration testing.



Requirements:

  • BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or a related field (IIT/NITs preferred)
  • 6-8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in Nodejs/Golang.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in modern technologies and architectures.
  • Passion for Fintech and a desire to drive technological innovation in the industry.
