Job Description


As a Senior Software Product Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. Your expertise in Agile methodologies, user stories, and Outsystems development will be instrumental in delivering successful software products. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and quality assurance professionals.


Business Analysis:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, vision, and goals.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear and concise user stories, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Analyze the business domain, system scope, and automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define initial project requirements.


User Stories and Backlog Management:

  • Stock and groom the product backlog, maintaining a well-organized list of user stories.
  • Establish user stories that represent the overall scope of the project.
  • Prioritize user stories based on business value and project goals.
  • Split epics into smaller, actionable user stories.
  • Ensure the backlog remains manageable and aligned with project objectives.


Agile Methodology:

  • Understand Agile principles and practices.
  • Assist the product owner in decision-making during the project.
  • Facilitate communication between development teams and stakeholders.
  • Help the team understand the big picture and how their work fits within the organizational strategy.


Outsystems Development:

  • Familiarity with Outsystems low-code development platform.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure user stories are implemented effectively.
  • Provide insights into technical feasibility and constraints.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the Agile framework.
  • Advocate for best practices and contribute to the team’s growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certifications: Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) preferred.


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst.
  • Proficiency in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Outsystems development or similar low-code platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
