Purpose of the Role

  • This position is required for designing a scalable system architecture for EV powertrain HPC considering automotive cyber security requirements, FUSA requirements providing a modular platform to integrate software defined functionalities in vehicle. It includes design and feasibility of signal-based architecture, service-based architecture, software components, and hardware components for HPC.
  • Position is critical for development and meet the timeline of EV software defined vehicle projects.

Job Responsibility

  • The candidate shall be responsible for design of EV powertrain HPC system architecture that includes both service-oriented architecture and signal based architecture, software components like features and services and hardware architecture while considering compliance to safety and security.
  • Analyse the requirements, from cyber security, FUSA and functional requirements and develop requirements specification documents. Derive requirements for the customised vehicle abstraction layer.
  • Design a service-oriented architecture while designing the services and its APIs. Perform application decomposition and partitioning of the functions, features, and services to HPC. Finalise the middleware software components and kernel configuration. Finalise the OS hypervisor and containerization engines. Design and evaluate the data flow and interaction between application layers, middleware, platform services, OS and HPC and between different OS.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience in system architecture development preferably with Linux and QNX platforms. The candidate shall have experience in design, development of service-oriented architecture and its implementation while considering compliance to safety and security.
  • Shall have strong technical design background of designing service-oriented systems, Linux device drivers, kernel porting, Linux kernel programming and configuration and experience in developing middleware solutions and services, containerization and virtualisation.
  • Shall have understanding of real time embedded systems its software and its architecture for embedded systems using different microcontroller families.
  • Experience in E/E architectures, zonal and domain centralised architectures.

  • Microprocessors: HPC, NXP, ARM 8, ARM 9, Service oriented architecture
  • Yacto, linux kernel programming, linux internals
  • Device drivers, makefile, kconfig
  • Base support packages, board bring up
  • Git, Gitlab, CI/CD pipeline and DevOps concept.
  • Hypervisor, Containerization
  • Communication modules: TCP/IP, SOME/IP, ETHERNET, Bluetooth, connectivity, IOT, Wifi, CAN, CAN FD.
  • AUTOSAR: Adaptive, Classic
  • ISO26262, Functional safety, ISO 21434 automotive cyber security, ASPICE
