This role blends hands-on engineering, systems thinking, and strong cross-team collaboration within a modern DevOps environment.You will help build scalable infrastructure, evolve observability, improve resiliency, contribute to incident response, and support secure delivery practices across engineering. This role is essential to supporting high-volume user traffic while ensuring systems remain stable, fast, and secure.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud EngineeringDeploy, maintain, and improve AWS environments using automation and Infrastructure-as-CodeBuild tooling that increases predictability, stability, and delivery speedTune systems for scale, performance, and cost efficiencyMaintain reproducible and auditable infrastructure using TerraformMonitor cloud spend and usage to support service-level objectivesObservability & ReliabilitySupport uptime, reliability, and performance monitoring across critical servicesParticipate in incident management and bridge calls during major eventsEnhance telemetry tools (NewRelic, CloudWatch, DataDog) for operational visibilityApply data-driven insights to improve system stability and user experienceHelp ensure architecture and deployment patterns meet reliability expectationsDevSecOps & AutomationStrengthen CI/CD pipelines and code-quality practicesCollaborate with Cybersecurity to remediate vulnerabilities via automationSupport secure, consistent, and scalable delivery workflowsResiliency EngineeringIdentify potential failure points and architectural risksSupport chaos testing and failure-injection exercisesAssist in capacity planning for seasonal or unexpected load spikesRecommend improvements to infrastructure and services to increase resiliencyLeadership & CollaborationContribute to knowledge sharing and best practices across engineeringCollaborate closely with product, engineering, and security teamsWrite clear documentation to improve operational readinessQualificationsExperience as a software or systems engineer with strong debugging skillsHands-on experience with AWS and Terraform (required)Experience with ECS; Kubernetes/EKS experience preferredProficiency in Python, Golang, Bash, or similar automation languagesCI/CD experience with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similarAbility to troubleshoot across servers, networks, storage, and databasesExperience supporting production systems in cloud environmentsStrong communication, analytical thinking, and incident response skillsBS in Computer Science or equivalent experienceAbout UsWe build reliable, scalable, and secure digital platforms that support global user experiences.
