Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Front End Developer with a focus on Programmatic Auto-Email & SMS at Trademarkia in Chennai. The Front End Developer will handle tasks related to the technical aspects of programmatic communication, including automated email and SMS systems, content optimization, and integrating analytics for tracking success and open rates within our infrastructure. The role involves working closely with our Golang and PostgreSQL backend systems to enhance user engagement through sophisticated communication strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Programmatic Email & SMS Development

  • Develop and maintain features for automated email and SMS communication.
  • Integrate programmatic email and SMS features directly into the existing Golang and PostgreSQL backend infrastructure without relying on third-party services.
  • Utilize Twilio for sending SMS and Mailgun along with other servers for sending out emails.
  • Ensure high deliverability rates for emails and SMS through technical optimization.
  • Design and implement engaging and effective email and SMS templates.

Content and Style Optimization

  • Create and optimize email and SMS content for maximum engagement and readability.
  • Implement A/B testing to determine the most effective content and design.
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce high-quality communication materials.

Technical Integration and Analytics

  • Develop custom solutions for tracking email and SMS performance metrics such as open rates and click-through rates.
  • Integrate analytics directly into our Golang and PostgreSQL backend systems to ensure comprehensive data collection and analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze data to refine and improve email and SMS strategies continuously.

Deliverability and Compliance

  • Implement and manage SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations to enhance email deliverability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices for email and SMS communication.
  • Regularly update and optimize email and SMS infrastructure to avoid spam filters and enhance deliverability.

Performance Optimization

  • Optimize Golang backend systems and PostgreSQL database to ensure efficient processing and dispatch of programmatic emails and SMS.
  • Implement caching strategies and other performance improvements to enhance system reliability and speed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email and SMS dispatch and tracking.

Continuous Monitoring and Reporting

  • Regularly track and report on email and SMS performance metrics.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics for user behavior insights and improvements.
  • Implement and monitor web analytics goals and events to measure success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a focus on programmatic email and SMS automation.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with Next.js.
  • Solid understanding of email deliverability and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Microsoft Clarity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Well-versed in the optimization of Golang and browser-side rendering.
