Note - consultant should have work exp as Python Developer and, also familiarity to AWS Tools (Glue, Step Functions and Lambda)

we are looking for Python Middleware developer who has experience connecting POS to data with 12+ Adaptors.


To execute the project described, here's an IT requirement for hiring a consultant who can lead the integration and development efforts. The consultant will need to have expertise in API frameworks, cloud technologies, and middleware solutions, as well as deep knowledge of data lakes, AWS, Snowflake, Oracle ERP, and Salesforce integration.

IT Consultant Requirement for Data Integration and API Development Project:


Project Overview:

The consultant will be responsible for leading a complex data integration project involving API frameworks, a data lake house architecture, and middleware solutions. The key technologies

include AWS, Snowflake, Oracle ERP, and Salesforce, along with a high transaction volume POS system. The focus will be on building reusable, scalable API frameworks, optimizing middleware, and ensuring security and compliance in a multi-cloud environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. API Development & Integration:

• API Framework Expertise: Deep experience in developing and managing AP ls across

multiple systems (POS, Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Omni-channel systems).

• Reusable Components: Proven ability to build reusable, scalable APls for future

integrations.

• Bidirectional Data Flow: Experience with unidirectional and bidirectional AP ls, ensuring

real-time or near-real-time data synchronization.

• Middleware Solutions: Strong experience in middleware technologies for connecting

various systems.

• Custom API Adapters: Ability to create custom API adapters and integrate them

seamlessly with external systems like Salesforce, Teamwork Commerce, and Oracle ERP.


2. Cloud Infrastructure & Data Processing:

• AWS Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Fargate, and

Glue for data processing, storage, and integration.

• Snowflake Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience in optimizing Snowflake for querying

and reporting, including building aggregated views and handling large datasets.

• AWS Automation Tools: Knowledge of Terraform for automating the provisioning and

management of AWS resources.


3. Security & Compliance:

• Security Protocols: Deep understanding of cloud security protocols including SSO, VPC

security, encryption (both at rest and in transit), secret management, and least privilege

access models.

• AWS Cognito & API Security: Experience in setting up API security and user

authentication/authorization using AWS Cognito or similar tools.

• Audit Logging & Compliance: Expertise in setting up audit logs, ensuring traceability, and

enforcing compliance across cloud services (AWS & Snowflake).

4. Data Flow & Scalability:

• High-Volume Transaction Processing: Experience managing and scaling systems to

handle high transaction volumes, especially during peak periods like Black Friday.

• Real-Time Data Processing: Familiarity with real-time data flow requirements between

systems, such as real-time inventory updates and sales data.

• AWS Lambda & Fargate Optimization: In-depth knowledge of optimizing AWS Lambda and

Fargate for efficient, cost-effective data processing.


5. Logging, Monitoring, & Error Handling:

• Operational Monitoring: Experience implementing comprehensive logging and monitoring

for API performance, data flow, error tracking, and error recovery.

• Error Recovery Solutions: Proven ability to set up error-handling mechanisms to ensure

system resilience and quick recovery from failures.


6. Collaboration & Support:

• Post-Go-Live Support: Experience providing hypercare and long-term operational support,

including troubleshooting, monitoring, and system enhancements.

• Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with internal teams as well as manage external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise API integration, cloud architecture, and data management.

Deep Experience AWS services, Snowflake, Oracle ERP (EBS), and Salesforce integrations.

• Proven track record of delivering scalable API frameworks and handling complex middleware systems.

• Expertise in security and compliance within cloud environments, particularly AWS.

• Experience handling high-volume transaction systems with real-time data processing requirements.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation, error handling, and post-launch support.

• Familiarity with Terraform, AWS Cognito, AWS Glue, and Lambda.

• Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or similar industries with high-volume transactional systems.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Fargate.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of reusable API frameworks.

• Optimize data flow through middleware systems and ensure real-time data updates between systems.

• Build robust security, logging, and error-handling frameworks across the technology stack.

• Collaborate with the in-house team and ensure seamless integration between all systems {POS, Salesforce, Oracle ERP, etc.).

• Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and optimization post-go-live
