Job Requirements

Mandatory Skills

  • Java Springboot developer - proficient knowledge of back-end programming language (should have the hands on experience in Java)
  • Experience on microservices architecture and API development using SpringBoot
  • Ability to write well-documented, clean code
  • Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Should have expertise on delivering frontend as well as backend projects
  • Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
  • Experience in managing and deploying applications to a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, Heroku) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Git or other source control methods
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience working with SQL, NoSQL and designing schemas.
  • Familiar with Continuous Integration / Delivery methodology.
  • Experience with web application security and incorporating security into the software development lifecycle

Preferred Skills

  • Degree in computer science, Data Science, engineering, mathematics, information systems, or a related technical discipline
  • 5-10 years of work experience with Java, Spring boot, Sql, MangoDB, OpenShift, Microservices, Kafka
  • Proven track record partnering with business owners to understand requirements and developing analysis to solve their business problems
  • Proven analytical and quantitative ability and a passion for enabling customers to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analysis
