This role seeks a highly experienced Principal Architect with expertise in Golang programming, cloud computing, security best practices, and experience integrating Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) for secure communication. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-based solutions utilizing Golang.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement secure and robust cloud architectures leveraging Golang, incorporating strong TLS encryption for data in transit.
  • Lead and mentor a team of architects and developers on best practices for cloud security, Golang development, and secure communication protocols like TLS and SAML.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) and their security offerings, including TLS configuration and SAML integration capabilities.
  • Define security requirements, threat models, and implement security controls for cloud-based applications, including secure authentication and authorization using SAML.
  • Collaborate with security engineers to ensure adherence to security best practices, compliance regulations, and secure communication protocols like TLS and SAML.
  • Lead the development of cloud-native applications using Golang and microservices principles, ensuring secure communication between services.
  • Design and implement APIs for secure communication between cloud services, leveraging SAML for authentication and authorization.
  • Review and approve technical designs and architecture documentation, ensuring proper integration of TLS and SAML.
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide expert guidance on cloud, security solutions, and secure communication protocols like TLS and SAML.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Principal Architect with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of Golang programming language, including concurrency, channels, error handling, and secure coding practices.
  • Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms and their security features (e.g., IAM, encryption, KMS).
  • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices (e.g., least privilege, defense in depth) and secure communication protocols like TLS and SAML.
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions with strong security considerations.
