Key Responsibilities:


Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and others.
  • Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or GCP Deployment Manager.

Automation and Optimization:

  • Automate cloud infrastructure management tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate GCP services into their workflows.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on cloud-related issues and best practices.


Qualifications:


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proven experience with GCP services and tools.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools.


Certifications:

  • GCP certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer are highly desirable.

· Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
