We are looking for a skilled Kubernetes Engineer with extensive experience in managing and deploying workloads on Kubernetes, specifically EKS, GKE, and AKS, to join our team and help us build scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS, Google GKE, and Azure AKS.
  • Automate Kubernetes infrastructure and application lifecycle management using tools like Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize.
  • Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Kubernetes.
  • Monitor and optimize cluster performance, scaling, and security for containerized applications.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery strategies for Kubernetes clusters.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes workloads, networking, and storage.
  • Collaborate with developers to containerize applications and ensure best practices for security, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Work on cloud-native services, including monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), logging (ELK stack, Loki), and alerting solutions.
  • Implement autoscaling, load balancing, and right-sizing strategies for Kubernetes clusters.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS).
  • Strong expertise in managing cloud environments on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Proficiency in using Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to manage Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration using Helm, Kustomize, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts: Pods, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and RBAC.
  • Strong knowledge of networking in Kubernetes: Service Mesh, Load Balancing, Network Policies, etc.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Loki.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments.
  • Experience with Autoscaling, Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA), and Spot instances.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in Kubernetes: secrets management, role-based access control (RBAC), and pod security policies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) and experience with Git.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer).
  • Familiarity with service meshes like Istio, Linkerd, or Envoy.
  • Experience with multi-cluster and hybrid Kubernetes setups.
  • Knowledge of managed Kubernetes services and cloud-native application patterns (e.g., microservices, serverless).
  • Experience with KEDA, Karpenter, or similar tools for Kubernetes autoscaling.
