The main challenges of this position are the following:

· Ability to work within a complex multinational and multicultural environment, where regional IT managers, local and global vendors, our internal control, external auditing, IT Security, other our technical and administrative staff and many other stakeholders are involved.

· Responsibility for the Network services and administration due to the critical role of the service in enabling all the IT departments on datacenter and global connectivity, user remote access and control of these accesses.

· Deal with complex technical environment, policy and organizational issues and with multi-dimensional problems.

· Deliver services to different IT organizations and countries across our company environment.


Main activities:

· Monitor and report on the infrastructure and operations in scope of the role.

· Ensure that the infrastructure systems and tools operate according to the expected levels of service in terms of performance, availability, security and continuity.

· Ensure performance management of the suppliers (SLA and KPI).

· Ensure cost efficiency and control.

· Optimize the available resources (enhanced working procedures, enhanced technical services, reactive and proactive monitoring, etc.) through a robust Continuous Improvement process.

· Contribute to the deployment efforts of new projects.

· Be responsible for internal control and audit compliance for the solutions in scope of the role.

· Manage and supervise the external resources / augmented team under his responsibility and external providers within the scope and develop a partner relationship with the external providers (outsourcing services, infrastructure vendors).

· Coordinate with main internal stakeholders: IT Security, Global SRE Practice, regional I&O Edge teams and ITSCs.

· Reinforce the priority, foster and develop the health and safety culture in his/her respective team through incorporation of health and safety into team goals and objectives.

· Mobility requirements (time spent travelling internationally, nationally etc.): International travels: up to 5%.

Level of education/qualifications normally required:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.

· ITIL v3 certified.


Specific work experience:

· Strong IT experience in an international context and with demonstrated success integrating new technologies and methodologies into a large organization.

· Experience driving offshore outsourcing teams.

· Experience in global technical roll-out and operations.

· Experience managing and operating complex, multi-year and international solutions, with a strong focus on cost control.

· Previous experience in supporting mission critical infrastructure environments.

· At least 8 years of experience in the domain.


Technical / functional skills:

· Experience developing and implementing IT technical standards, policies and procedures.

· Awareness of Operations role and constraints in a worldwide and outsourced IT organization.

· Proven experience in network routing and switching, remote access solutions and special focus on DNS-DHCP, NTP, PKI and Network Security posture and improvement.

· Broad range of understanding of shared infrastructure (Network connectivity provider , Servers, Network equipment, Security equipment…) and associated technologies.

· Broad range of understanding of ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices.

· Ability to understand and deliver infrastructure services which are provided on a 24x7x365 basis.

· Broad range of understanding of Cloud providers service offerings (mostly PaaS and IaaS).
