Job Description:

Netstratum is looking for a Senior Core Java Developer with 4+ years of experience who is responsible for development of applications. As a Senior Core Java Developer, you will be a key player in our development team, responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable Java applications. Your deep expertise in Core Java, combined with your leadership skills, will be essential in guiding and mentoring junior developers, as well as driving the technical direction of our projects


Primary responsibility:

  • Lead the end-to-end software development process, including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance, to meet project requirements.
  • Design and Development using Core Java, Spring Framework/Spring Batch, Java socket programming, RESTFul APIs and Junits.
  • Responsible for Code reviews (peer review), Unit testing, providing support to testing team, Defect fixing, Defect triaging, Root causes Analysis and release / deployment support.
  • Guiding and mentoring others to enhance team effectiveness and maintain quality standards by providing code style and architectural input through pair programming, reviewing pull requests and team meetings.
  • Develop, collaborate on, and execute Agile development, product scenarios, in order to release high quality software on a regular cadence.


Required skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in developing software applications using Java and Spring Batch.
  • Strong knowledge in REST APIs.
  • Demonstrated track record of high quality, full-lifecycle cloud software development.
  • Ability to work well both within a team and unsupervised.
  • Demonstrated ability to construct designs, estimate development effort, and deliver robust, high-quality software to development plans.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and branching/merging, dependency management and build frameworks.
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and get-things-done mindset.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
