Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled MDM Real-Time Tech Specialist with extensive experience in backend programming and a strong background in Java frameworks, PL/SQL, and .NET. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in designing and implementing Master Data Management (MDM) systems from the ground up, along with the ability to handle real-world backend programming challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement MDM Solutions: Architect and develop MDM solutions from scratch, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Backend Programming: Develop robust and efficient backend systems using Java frameworks, PL/SQL, and .NET technologies.
  • Data Integration: Integrate MDM systems with various data sources and applications to ensure seamless data flow and consistency.
  • Real-Time Data Management: Implement real-time data processing and synchronization solutions to support the organization's data needs.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of MDM systems through effective coding practices and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stewards, compliance, data leads, and software developers, to ensure cohesive MDM strategies and solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to best practices in MDM design and implementation.


Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend programming.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions from the ground up.
  • Some experience in Java frameworks, PL/SQL, and .NET with restful services
  • Technical Skills:
  • Must have experience with major MDM solution real-time data services (Add/Get/Search/Delete/merge/Re-assign/UnMerge..)
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.
  • Working experience with data synchronization technologies and able to design one
  • Familiar with MQ or other messaging middleware is required for this role
  • Deep understanding of MDM principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality results.


Preferred Qualifications

  • DAMA mdm certified or any other professional MDM certification (prefer not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality management.
  • Some knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
