Through our global partner network, Sathvar enables businesses to access trusted professionals for their compliance, management, and expansion needs.We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can take ownership of end-to-end accounting operations, ensure compliance with Indian and international accounting standards, and support our growing network of clients globally.Key Responsibilities1. Accounting OperationsManage day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable IFRS norms, also Indian GAAPEnsure timely posting of transactions, accruals, and provisions.2. Financial ReportingPrepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statement.Assist in consolidation and preparation of MIS reports for management review.Perform financial analysis, variance reporting, and cost control analysis.3. Taxation & ComplianceEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings.Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and company secretaries for audit and compliance matters.Prepare and review monthly/quarterly statutory returns.4. Internal Controls & Process ImprovementImplement and monitor accounting systems and internal controls.Identify process gaps and propose automation or improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Support in ERP/Accounting software implementation and maintenance.5. Client Coordination (for Outsourced Accounting Projects)Manage accounting deliverables for multiple client entities.Communicate financial results and compliance updates to clients on time.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data gathering and reporting.Required QualificationsEducation: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Semi-qualified CA or CMA.Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a consulting, CA firm, or corporate environment.Technical Skills:Proficiency in SAP, Dynamics, Mybizz ERP, Zoho Books, or ERP platforms (MyBizz ERP preferred).Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting standards (Ind AS / Indian GAAP).Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.High attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.Client-centric and proactive approach.What We OfferOpportunity to work on global accounting and compliance projects.Exposure to multi-country accounting and taxation practices.Growth-oriented work environment with cross-functional learning.Competitive compensation and performance incentivesSathvar Global Business services
