We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer II with a focus on front-end development to join our team. As a Frontend Developer at Phot. AI, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining user interfaces for our web-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces for web applications using modern frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e. g., Reactjs and Next.js ).
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to translate UI/UX designs and requirements into functional front-end code.
  • Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of UI designs.
  • Optimise application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in React.js and Next.js and its core principles.
  • Experience with state management libraries (e. g., Redux).
  • Knowledge of Fabric.js for canvas manipulation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in front-end development and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions to technical problems.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand user needs and contribute to product planning and feature prioritization.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Solid understanding of frontend web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • 2 + years of experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e. g., Webpack, Babel, npm).
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies and RESTful APIs.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
