Company Overview:

Benaka Gold Company is a leading organization engaged in purchasing gold directly from the public. We operate 23 branches across Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a proficient Accounts Manager to oversee our financial operations and contribute to our financial health.


Position: Accounts Manager


Location: Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Oversight:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as regulatory bodies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Coordinate the preparation of budget forecasts and monitor financial progress against budget, summarizing financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Ensure timely processing of all invoicing and collection of payments. Oversee the processing of payroll and vendor payments.
  • Manage and monitor metrics for measuring the quality and efficiency of ongoing financial operations.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Coordinate the preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures, and prepare for audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Financial Policies:

  • Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
  • Recommend improvements to systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

Team Management:

  • Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
  • Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Manager, Finance Manager, or similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Excel; familiarity with financial management software is preferred.


Language Proficiency:


Proficiency in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil is preferred to communicate effectively with staff across all branches.
