The Team
Deloitte’s SA&MA- Analytics & Cognitive practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

Work you’ll do
As a Manager in our Consulting team, you’ll will drive the design and implementation of robust data models, expertly handling relational, dimensional, and data vault methodologies. You'll leverage your deep knowledge of big data, cloud technologies, and both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure data architecture aligns strategically with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive data models (relational, dimensional, data vault) to support critical business processes and enable data-driven decision-making.
Architect and implement scalable data models for both SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing performance and efficiency.
Lead the strategic use of advanced data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio) to streamline development and enhance data integrity.
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT and business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
Manage a team of data modelers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of data modeling excellence.
Oversee the secure migration of data across systems, prioritizing data integrity within cloud environments.
Engage directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customized data management strategies.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in data modeling, big data, and cloud technologies.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data modeling and data management.
Expertise in ERwin and ER/Studio data modeling tools.
Proven experience with relational, dimensional, and data vault modeling techniques.
Hands-on experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
Experience with writing complex SQL queries.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Collaborative team player with a passion for optimizing performance and driving business growth.
Strong communicator
Working knowledge of agile methodologies
Should be proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
