Intern FPGA Engineer

Role Overview:
Dhruva Space looking a detail-oriented FPGA Intern with an M.Tech background to work on RFIC-FPGA interfacing projects using tools like Vivado and Vitis on platforms such as the ZedBoard. This role offers hands-on experience in FPGA design, signal processing, and hardware-software integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, simulation, and verification of FPGA-based systems interfacing with RFICs.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement and optimize communication protocols between RFICs and FPGAs.
- Develop and test digital signal processing algorithms on FPGA platforms for software-defined radio (SDR) applications.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of FPGA designs, including debugging hardware and software issues.
- Support the integration of RFIC hardware with FPGA firmware.
- Document design processes, methodologies, and test results comprehensively.
Candidate Requirements:
- M.Tech in Embedded Systems, Microelectronics, VLSI Design, or Communications.
- Strong understanding of digital logic design and FPGA architecture.
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as VHDL or Verilog.
- Knowledge of programming languages like C or C++.
- Proficiency in Xilinx Vivado and Vitis development tools.
- Experience with graphical design on ZedBoard or similar FPGA platforms (preferred).
- Familiarity with communication protocols and signal processing techniques.
- Basic understanding of RF concepts and wireless communication systems.
- Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Tcl).
