Job Details

JOB Position: - EMI / EMC Design Engineer


Experience: - 3 to 5 Years


Qualification Required: B.E. (EC/IC)

Knowledge And Skills

  • Possesses good problem-solving skills.
  • Have good communication and presentation skills due to global work environment, and interest in working with other cultures.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take responsibility/ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

 

1. EMI-EMC test & ELECTRICAL TESTS :

  • Should be well versed with tests as per std ISO16750 like slow increase & decrease of supply voltage, reset behaviour at voltage drop, open circuit, short circuit, Load dump, starting profile, voltage chattering etc.
  • Conducted transient Disturbance on supply lines & Signal Lines as per ISO 7637-2 ( tests like Pulse 1, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, 4) & ISO 7637-3 (CCC, ICC, DCC)
  • Conducted Emission test ( CE test) on supply line & Signal Line ( As per CISPR 25) & Radiated Emission test ( RE test) as per CISPR 25
  • Bulk Current Injection test ( BCI test) as per ISO11452-4
  • Radiated Susceptibility ( Radiated Immunity) ALSE method as per ISO 11452-2
  • Electrostatic Discharge test (ESD test) as per ISO 10605


2. ENVIRONMENTAL, MECHANICAL & OTHER TESTS:

  • Low-temperature storage & Low-temperature operation test
  • Constant Humidity test,
  • Thermal Shock test,
  • Temperature & humidity Testing, 
  • Dust test
  • Light resistance test
  • Drop test
  • Vibration test
  • Durability / Endurance test , Life test
  • Flammability test
  • Coating / paint-related tests


3. The candidate should be capable to operating an Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Push-pull gauge, Digital vernier, height gauge, Ohm-meter etc

4. The candidate should be able to prepare test reports in MS Excel, Word or in ppt format along with Tear Down Analysis
