Job Overview:  

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Content Writer to join our entertainment team. As a writer for FandomWire, you’ll craft engaging, timely articles on the latest in movies, TV shows, and pop culture. Your work will be featured on a site visited by fans and enthusiasts who rely on us for news, lists, reviews, and in-depth analysis. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes entertainment, with a knack for storytelling and an eye for trending topics.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Research and write high-quality, original content on entertainment topics, including movies, TV shows, celebrity news, and pop culture trends.
  • Develop creative listicles, feature articles, news pieces, and opinion pieces that engage our audience.
  • Follow FandomWire’s style guide and ensure accuracy, readability, and quality in all articles.
  • Keep up with entertainment news and trending topics to create timely and relevant content.
  • Collaborate with editors and other writers to develop and refine ideas.
  • Update older articles as needed to keep content current and evergreen.


Requirements:  

  • Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in entertainment or pop culture (samples required).
  • Strong research skills and the ability to source accurate, relevant information.
  • Ability to write clean, engaging, and error-free content.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • A passion for entertainment and a finger on the pulse of current trends.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with online media publications.
  • A deep understanding of entertainment genres, fan culture, and various media platforms.
