Main activities:

Design and Engineering:

- Implementation of technical appropriate, quality, and cost-effective solutions in compliance with project specification

- Develop and provide the necessary inputs/specifications to the designer to prepare the documents and drawings.

- Checks and validates the technical quality of the work carried out by the electrical/instrumentation designer before manufacturing and issued to the customer


Responsibilities

- Carries out instrumentation and electrical studies for the projects in compliance with commitments in terms of quality, planning and costs

- Develops and provide the necessary inputs/specifications to the electrical and Instrumentation designer

- Consults and provide the specific technical specifications to the procurement department for purchase (Drives, PLCs, PC, and server)

- Follow up with suppliers/subcontractors for equipment’s manufacturing and on time delivery. (If wiring outside France, wiring of electrical cabinets or wiring of skids)- Follows the evolution of new technology to adapt the equipment to the different standards

.- Checks and validates the technical quality of the work carried out by the electrical designer before manufacturing and transmission to the customer.

- Performs electrical checks and tests on I/O cabinets, control boxes or junction boxes made by our subcontractors. (If cabling outside France and after validation by the manager)

- Delivers a technical assistance to the commissioning team

- Development of basic documents:

• Interpretation of PID diagrams

• Document list

• Schematic of connections

• Equipment List. (Cabinets, Boxes, etc.)

• Cables List

• I/O List (assigned by geographic sector.)

• Power Balance

• Definition of PLC configuration and field networks

• Motor list- Prepare RFQ and float tender for cabling of cabinets, Cabling of skids, Cabling of customer sites…

IT /Tools Knowledge:

- Experience with AutoCAD and EPLAN on electrical and Instrumentation drawings

- Excel, Word, SAP

- English (Read, Write and spoken)

- French (Good to have)

Knowledge required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics /Instrumentation Engineering discipline

- At least 3 years of professional work experience in Electrical/Instrumentation engineering (DCS/ ESD/ FGS) for process industries in any one of the domains like Oil & Gas/ Refineries/ Petrochemicals

- Determination, capacity to organize the own daily work and prioritize topics,

- capacity to address multiple and diverse technical issue in a complex environment, autonomy,

- customer orientation, sensitivity to Integrity and security aspects

- Experience: 5 years' experience in similar functions ideally in an international environment
