Title: CELPIP Trainer

Scope of Work;

Prowess Pursuit is seeking experienced CELPIP Trainers ( (on a case-to-case basis) to join our organization on a case-to-case basis to assist our registered clients. As a CELPIP Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and guidance to individuals preparing for the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) test.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one or group training sessions for CELPIP test preparation, focusing on all modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
• Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to the specific needs and proficiency levels of each client.
• Provide constructive feedback on practice tests and assignments to help clients improve their English language skills and performance on the CELPIP test.
• Monitor progress and performance through regular assessments and adjust teaching methods as needed to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Stay updated with CELPIP test format, content changes, and best practices in test preparation techniques.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and learning preferences.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CELPIP Trainer or English language instructor with a focus on test preparation.
• In-depth knowledge of the CELPIP test structure, scoring system, and proficiency levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and support clients in achieving their language proficiency goals.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to work remotely on a case-to-case basis according to client schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CELPIP Certified Instructor accreditation or equivalent certification in English language teaching (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA).
• Experience in developing curriculum or study materials for language proficiency tests.
