Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Public Relations (PR) Specialist to oversee the company’s media outreach and public relations activities. The candidate will work on building brand reputation, securing media coverage, and managing press communications to enhance brand visibility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive public relations strategy to increase brand awareness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets to secure media coverage.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to the media.
  • Organize press conferences, media interviews, and company events.
  • Pitch stories and authored articles to relevant media platforms and publications.
  • Manage the company’s reputation by monitoring media coverage and responding to media inquiries.
  • Handle crisis communication and provide solutions for negative press or public relations issues.
  • Work with internal teams to craft the company’s narrative and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Track PR performance metrics (media coverage, impressions, reach) and report on results.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of media coverage and PR campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills, with the ability to create compelling press releases and articles.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills with media contacts.
  • Knowledge of public relations tools and software (e.g., Cision, Meltwater).
  • Strong crisis management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a B2B, consulting, or international business environment.
  • Understanding of digital PR and how it integrates with social media and online platforms.
  • Familiarity with media trends and the ability to identify and leverage emerging opportunities.
