Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning and Operations to oversee, optimize, and coordinate supply chain, Planning and Plant operations activities across multiple SKUs and locations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supply chain planning, exports, CFA operations, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, production planning, operations management, and cross-functional coordination with production, sales, marketing, and procurement teams. Exposure to FMCG/Food Processing is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage supply chain planning, including Demand Planning, Production Planning, Operations planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Exports Planning and movement of multiple SKUs across regions and warehouse management (including 3PL operations).
  • Manage plant operations and production, ensuring timely delivery of customer orders (local & export) while maintaining quality standards.
  • Oversee inventory management for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
  • Develop and monitor production plans in alignment with demand forecasts from sales & marketing.
  • Oversee CFA operations in coordination with warehouses and logistics managers to ensure timely dispatches and adherence to service levels.
  • Optimize line efficiency, yield, and shift planning across multiple plants or units.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments – production, sales, marketing, logistics, procurement, warehousing, maintenance, quality, and housekeeping.
  • Manage vendor relationships including contract negotiation, quality control, and cost optimization.
  • Monitor key supply chain and operations KPIs, analyse data, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Lead and build strong teams, including capacity building, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to different plant locations as required.


Requirements:

Education: B.E. / B.Tech any specialization.

  • Experience:
  • 10–15 years in supply chain management, planning, plant operations and manufacturing in FMCG/Food (handling multiple units/SKUs).
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, PPC (Production Planning & Coordination), line efficiency, and ERP systems.
  • Experience in warehousing, CFA operations, logistics, inventory management, and transportation planning.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to manage large teams across multiple plants.
  • Exposure to exports planning, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
  • Incumbent should be based at Hyderabad but travel to other locations on a regular basis.
  • Language: Telugu is mandatory; proficiency in English and Hindi is essential.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership capabilities.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, S/4HANA, or equivalent) and MS Office is preferrable.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple SKUs and operations at scale.
  • Capability to drive process improvements, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable with travel across plant locations.
