Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Back End Developer Intern at Healthpro located in Bengaluru. The Back End Developer Intern will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with Back-End Web Development, Software Development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Front-End Development and Programming.


Our Tech Stack:


  • Typescript, NestJS.
  • PostgreSQL / TypeORM.
  • ElasticSearch.
  • Redis.


Requirements:

  • Good experience building applications at scale in the above stack.
  • Advanced Typescript knowledge and desire to use more advanced Typescript concepts to reduce boiler-plate.
  • WebSocket and demonstrable web performance tuning skills.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (version control, tooling, testing, etc. ).
  • Deep experience leveraging ORMs for data modelling and data access concerns. Should understand both the pros and cons of using an ORM vs. raw queries.
  • Has worked with one or all of the following: NestJS, Typescript


Qualifications


  • Contribute to the overall stability and performance of our application.
  • Optimise our application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Take ownership of dependencies in our code base.
  • Work with the Engineering Team to plan out new prospective pieces of work ahead of time, such as architectural design and infrastructure requirements.
  • Work with DevOps / DBA functions to ensure that new and existing features are being backed and observed by appropriate hardware/infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience with Front-End Development and Programming
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Postgres is a plus.
  • Good to have: RabbitMQ, Exposure to AWS.
