Tax Manager- Direct Tax

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of direct taxation for our clients. Key Responsibilities:· Ensure timely compliance with corporate tax obligations, including filing of returns, assessments, and TDS matters.· Prepare submissions for scrutiny assessments, rectifications, stay applications, and appeals before Income-tax Authorities and Appellate Tribunal· Represent clients before tax authorities and follow up on assessments, refunds, and stay orders.· Provide advisory support on corporate tax laws, regulatory matters, and tax planning strategies.· Prepare memos, presentations, and impact analysis on latest case laws and circulars.· Coordinate with audit teams on tax provisioning and tax audit finalization.· Lead and manage tax engagements, mentoring and developing junior team members.· Stay updated with changes in tax regulations, attend trainings, and conduct technical research. Required Qualifications & Skills:· CA or equivalent qualification;· 5+ years’ of experience in direct taxation.· Strong knowledge of Indian corporate tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.· Experience in handling assessments, appeals, and tax advisory assignments.· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.· Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and multiple client engagements.· Proficiency in MS Office.· High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
