We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer –Web App Developer - Endoscopy who can join immediately and work on a 1-year contractual basis at the Hyderabad location. Operating Unit The Endoscopy Operating Unit has created a business out of disrupting the status quo in the detection, prevention, and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and chronic diseases. Day in the Life• Responsible for the development of web applications used with medical products• Design, conduct code reviews, implement, debug, web applications and web APIs, utilizing ReactJS and AWS (Python FastAPI, Cognito, Cloudfront, ReactJS, Javascript, HTML, Postgres RDS)• Determine design requirements for software systems.• Generate documentation for software projects to support regulatory and business needs.• Participate in all stages of product development: including refining product vision, gathering needs, refining requirements, project planning, system design, coding, testing, release, deployment, and support.• Utilize experience and education to build high quality, maintainable software following industry design/architectural patterns.• Use Agile methodologies to manage application development.• Manage completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others.• Continues to strengthen industry knowledge and use that knowledge to improve the quality of our products.• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.• Additional duties as assigned. Must Have – Minimum Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field with 9+ years of engineering experience· Minimum 6 years of web application development experience3+ years of experience architecting web applications and REST API’s on AWS· Strong written and verbal communication skillsNice to Have• Experience with database development (Postgres SQL)• Experience in medical device industry (or other regulated industry)• Experience with application design patterns and object-oriented design patterns• Experience with networking communication protocols• Experience with Agile development methodologies• Experience with Security and Risk analysis
